Is there one minimum order quantity for private label cosmetics?
There is no single minimum that applies to every Asya project. The formula batch, fill size, packaging components, decoration and number of variants influence the feasible quantity. Asya confirms the project-specific minimum with its manufacturing partner after reviewing your brief.
Separate formula and component minimums
A production batch and an order of bottles or pumps are different constraints. The selected decoration can introduce another minimum. Ask whether the quoted quantity includes all components and whether any unused packaging remains. If so, clarify ownership, storage and repeat-order conditions before accepting the proposal.
Count units for each variant
A request for a total range quantity can hide the split across sizes, fragrances or formulas. State the number of finished units for each version and the fill size. Ask whether shared packaging changes the proposal. Do not assume that several variants can be combined to meet the same formula batch minimum.
Ask for feasible alternatives
If the initial proposal exceeds your launch plan, ask which changes could be reviewed: fewer variants, a different fill size, available packaging or a simpler decoration. These are discussion options, not guaranteed reductions. Compare the complete project cost and commercial terms, including samples and any one-time work.
